Job Summary:

We’re looking for an entry-level Staff Accountant to join our growing team in Fort Worth. This role will provide critical support in General Ledger accounting, Treasury management, and Accounts Receivable (A/R) Cash Applications, with additional exposure to reporting, accounts payable, and systems/process implementations.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail and an eagerness to learn within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

General Ledger Accounting

- Support daily sweep preparation and monitor cash remittances to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Assist with preparation and posting of journal entries, including accruals and adjustments.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate variances to ensure accuracy.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Contribute to various ad-hoc projects as needed, such as accounts payable processing, audit support, and fluctuation (flux) analysis.

Treasury

- Monitor daily cash balances across multiple bank accounts and initiate fund transfers as needed.
- Support cash flow forecasting and reporting.
- Assist with processing outgoing payments and maintaining accurate treasury records.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve cash management issues.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 0–2 years of accounting or internship experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (US GAAP exposure a plus).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and AP automation tools (preferred but not required).
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
