Job Summary:

As a Field Applications Engineer at Arrow Electronics, you will be helping our customers select and design-in Interconnect, Passives, and Electromechanical (IP&E) components and solutions from our extensive line card. Arrow FAE’s are trusted advisors, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure the success of both our customers and our suppliers.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Drive demand creation by maximizing Arrow content on designs.
- Develop an advanced understanding of the customer’s needs and leverage Arrow’s engineering and design services resources to identify & facilitate solutions for customers.
- Apply technical expertise to influence designs utilizing solution selling, resources, and strategies.
- Partner with the sales team across pre-and post-sales activities.
- Provide technical support and consulting to promote demand creation.
- Prepare and give technical presentations to customers.
- Manage top opportunities and opportunity funnel for assigned suppliers.
- Attend supplier trainings in-person and via conference calls.
- Assisting with Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
- Demonstrate an understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of supplier technologies and how those technologies relate to market needs.
- Provide training to sales teams on new products and help market these products to the appropriate customers.
- Manage supplier and customer expectations by building and developing relationships, keeping stakeholders up to date on activities, plans, and progress towards initiatives.
- Deepen and broaden connections with key decision makers within customers and suppliers.
- Attend and actively participate in strategic branch meetings and quarterly business reviews. Develop and drive strategic technical plans by supplier line or customer solution.
- Help plan and organize engineering customer events and seminars.

What We Are Looking For:

- Requires an engineering degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience
- At least 3 or more years’ experience with interconnect product or related field. Interconnect products from Molex, TE, Amphenol, and Samtec is of primary interest. Also work as a field application engineer, application engineer, wire harness engineer, component engineer or similar experience. Any embedded, IoT or server/chassis design with interconnect products is also desired. Designing customer wiring harnesses and cable also a plus.
- Familiarity with specifying connectors, antennas, power supplies, circuit protection, batteries and passive components
- 2+ years of electronic design experience with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering
- In-depth knowledge and experience with system/board/engineering solutions and electronic components.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Sales experience is beneficial in this role.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday required office days for Panorama Office site; Monday, Friday-work from home.

# Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$84,300.00 - $150,150.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
