General Description

The Maintenance Coordinator administers, coordinates, and supports maintenance activities to ensure production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably within facility operations. This role works closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, EHS, vendors, and contractors to support maintenance programs, equipment initiatives, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement efforts, while providing key administrative and operational support to the Maintenance Department.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate maintenance planning activities, and preventive corrective and predictive programs.
- Coordinate, maintain, and monitor weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance planning activities.
- Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work orders, notifications, and maintenance planning activities.
- Prepare, maintain, and track maintenance risk assessments, risk mitigation actions, annual risk assessment schedules, and related compliance documentation.
- Coordinate annual EHS inspection schedules and support compliance with Quality, EHS, GMP/GxP, and company policies and procedures.
- Support maintenance deviations, investigations, corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), and follow-up activities to ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate the administration of maintenance documentation, equipment records, Standard operating procedures, maintenance reports, Metrics, and CMMS/SAP data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors regarding quotations, spare parts, maintenance services, equipment repairs, and service scheduling.
- Support contractor onboarding, site access requirements, work permits, and immigration documentation for contractors and service providers visiting the site.
- Coordinate and maintain maintenance shift schedules, resource planning schedules, and workforce allocation plans to support operational requirements.
- Participate in reliability and continuous improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis, equipment performance reviews, and asset uptime improvement programs.
- Provide administrative support to the Maintenance Department, including report preparation, purchase requisitions, invoice tracking, meeting coordination, document control, and departmental communications.

- Perform other reasonable duties as required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

Experience and Ski lls

- Relevant experience in maintenance coordination, planning, or administration.
- Good Understanding of GMP's, Safety and SOPs.
- Self-managed team player, adept at working with teams in a production environment.
- Good people and interpersonal skills.
- Good communication skills, (oral & written - e.g., documentation).
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, experience with computerized maintenance management-preferably SAP).

Education

Required

- Grade 12 high school diploma or equivalent required.

Working Conditions

- Onsite role with a regular day shift.

Compensation Range

$58,840 - $73,550
