Position Overview

The Program Manager, Sponsorships & Corporate Giving reports to the Director, Sponsorships & Corporate Giving and is responsible for managing the execution, activation, governance, and day-to-day performance of Acrisure's enterprise sponsorships, strategic partnerships, naming rights agreements, charitable giving programs, and community impact initiatives.

Working under the direction of the Director, Sponsorships & Corporate Giving, this role translates approved enterprise strategies and priorities into actionable plans, workstreams, and programs that deliver measurable business, brand, employee, and community outcomes.

The Program Manager serves as a key partner across Marketing, Communications, Events, Sales Enablement, Finance, Procurement, Legal, CRM, Human Resources, and business units to coordinate execution, maintain strong governance, and maximize the value of Acrisure's sponsorship and corporate giving investments. This position oversees partner relationships, activation planning, charitable giving operations, portfolio reporting, and cross-functional project management.

Responsibilities

Portfolio Planning & Execution

- Translate approved enterprise sponsorship and corporate giving strategies into actionable plans, priorities, timelines, and workstreams.
- Develop and manage annual activation plans, partnership roadmaps, and program execution schedules.
- Coordinate implementation of sponsorship, naming rights, charitable giving, and community impact initiatives across internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure approved sponsorship and corporate giving investments are executed effectively, on time, and in alignment with enterprise objectives.

Partnership Management & Value Delivery

- Manage Acrisure's enterprise sponsorships, naming rights agreements, strategic partnerships, and charitable partnerships.
- Serve as primary relationship manager for leagues, teams, venues, nonprofits, agencies, community organizations, and strategic partners.
- Manage contractual obligations, activation plans, asset utilization, hospitality programs, and partner performance.
- Support annual partnership reviews by gathering performance data, stakeholder feedback, utilization insights, and execution recommendations.
- Ensure Acrisure realizes the full value of sponsorship, hospitality, and partnership investments.

Corporate Giving & Community Impact

- Lead the execution of Acrisure's corporate giving strategy and enterprise giving framework.
- Manage charitable giving programs, funding requests, nonprofit partnerships, and community investments against established giving pillars and governance standards.
- Administer charitable giving requests and support due diligence, stakeholder coordination, and recommendation development in alignment with established giving criteria and governance standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with nonprofit organizations, community leaders, and charitable partners.
- Measure and communicate business, employee, brand, and community impact generated through charitable investments and community initiatives.

Governance, Measurement & Reporting

- Execute sponsorship and corporate giving governance processes, including intake, approvals, budgeting, contracting, and reporting.
- Execute and maintain established portfolio measurement frameworks, KPIs, and performance reporting processes.
- Support budget management, forecasting, spend visibility, and financial stewardship.
- Develop executive dashboards and reporting that demonstrate investment effectiveness and organizational impact.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, contractual obligations, financial controls, and approval requirements.

Cross-Functional & Operational Leadership

- Coordinate Marketing, Communications, CRM, Sales Enablement, Events, Finance, Procurement, Legal, business units, agencies, and external partners to drive execution.
- Serve as the central project manager and connector across stakeholders involved in sponsorships and corporate giving initiatives.
- Partner with business stakeholders to support activation, utilization, and execution of partnership assets and charitable giving initiatives.
- Support the integration of sponsorship, hospitality, community impact, and business development objectives.
- Represent Acrisure at partner events, sponsorship activations, charitable engagements, and industry functions.

Requirements

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, Sports Management, Nonprofit Management, or a related field required.
- Master's degree preferred.

Experience

- 7+ years of progressive experience in sponsorship management, brand partnerships, sports marketing, corporate citizenship, marketing, communications, or related disciplines.
- Experience managing enterprise level sponsorship portfolios, naming rights agreements, sports partnerships, or large scale corporate giving programs.
- Experience developing business cases, negotiating partnerships, and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
- Prior people leadership experience preferred.
- Experience working within a large, matrixed, global organization preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

- Strong understanding of sponsorship strategy, partnership activation, sponsorship valuation, and return on investment measurement.
- Knowledge of corporate philanthropy, charitable giving governance, and community engagement best practices.
- Exceptional relationship management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive alignment across cross functional teams.
- Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and investment performance.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, evolving environment while maintaining attention to detail and operational excellence.
