Position Details
We are currently looking for a freelance German Teacher for one of our clients in Sydney, Australia.

- Student Age Group : C: 25-34
- Student's Schedule : twice per week, (Monday, Friday on anytime; after 1.30 pm on Monday and Friday)
- Student's Preferred Start Date : ASAP
- Student's Motivation : I am hoping to move to Germany in June 2027 to further my career as an opera singer. I sing opera professionally and need my German to be at a level where I could work with coaches, directors, conductors and staff at the opera house in German. My ability to listen and understand in German is ok, but I find it very hard to construct sentences and speak in German. My goal is to be conversational by the time I move to Germany in June 2027.
Ideal Candidate
- Be a native German speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
- Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
- Have a valid work permit/visa
- Live within 30 km of the specified location
Conditions
- Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability
- Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
- Freelance position, with part-time hours
- We are not able to sponsor visas
