About this role
Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group seeks a Bilingual Manager of People Operations to manage day-to-day HR, personnel, payroll coordination, labor relations and office administration for a cleaning services account, venue. This hands-on role supports a unionized hourly workforce, partners with site leadership and the client, and helps ensure staffing readiness and People readiness.
Reports to: Vice President of People Operations (HR), with functional guidance from the Site Manager
People operations and workforce support
- Partner with Recruiting and Operations on staffing needs, hiring, on site onboarding and retention. Complete and process new-hire forms and required employment documentation; maintain accurate UKG (HRIS) records and confidential personnel files.
- Maintain current staffing rosters, vacancies and weekly termination reports. Coordinate timely separation processing with HR and Payroll, including required final-pay information.
- Work with team leaders, supervisors and managers to evaluate performance and staffing needs; recommend adjustments for Site Manager approval and coordinate labor and materials readiness for assigned work.
- Conduct on site orientations, coordinate, facilitate employee and supervisor training, and track completion. Administer site benefit, incentive and recognition programs, including the Pin Ceremony, with corporate partners.
- Build trusted, supportive relationships with employees while maintaining professional boundaries and ensuring fair, consistent treatment.
- Coach leaders on attendance, performance, documentation and employee communication; remain accessible across shifts and coordinate appropriate workplace matters with the client while protecting confidential information.
Union relations and employee investigations
- Maintain productive relationships with union representatives and stewards. Administer collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) and guide leaders on seniority, manage seniority list, assignments and discipline.
- Manage grievance intake, fact-finding, deadlines, meetings and documentation; recommend responses and resolutions with the Site Manager and VP of HR. Escalate settlements and contract commitments for approval.
- Conduct impartial investigations into employee concerns, harassment, discrimination, retaliation and policy violations. Document findings, recommend action and monitor follow-up; escalate sensitive matters to the VP of HR and legal counsel.
- Review proposed discipline and terminations for policy and CBA consistency. Train supervisors on union interactions and support negotiations, mediation or arbitration with records and case preparation as assigned.
Payroll and office administration
- Prepare and process site payroll submissions in partnership with Payroll. Review timekeeping processes, attendance, pay adjustments, CBA pay provisions and approvals; resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate payroll records.
- Manage office administration, including correspondence, copying, filing. Use HRIS and office software to prepare reports and track deliverables.
- Maintain purchase-order files, invoices, daily billing and billing reports; reconcile supporting documentation and coordinate timely approvals and submission with Operations and Finance.
Claims and incident coordination
- Maintain site insurance documentation, Workers Compensation records and injury, accident and General Liability reports. Collect incident details, witness statements and supporting records for timely submission to Risk and Safety.
- Track claims and missing documentation; coordinate work status, restrictions and return-to-work requirements with HR, Operations, Risk and Safety under approved guidance.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Five or more years of progressive HR experience, including at least two years of hands-on union relations, CBA administration and grievance management.
- Experience conducting investigations, coaching supervisors, supporting a large hourly workforce and coordinating payroll. Sports venues, hospitality, facilities services or event operations experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of California and San Francisco employment law and requirements; sound judgment, confidentiality, attention to detail and strong project coordination skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, and proficiency with HRIS, timekeeping and reporting systems; UKG experience preferred. Ability to work effectively with employees, leaders, clients and vendors.
- Ability to work on site across multiple shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays, to support the venues event schedule.

- Salary: $100,000– $110,000 Annually based on experience.
