In this role, you will support critical inpatient clinical workflows, including Inpatient Orders, Order Sets, Order Panels, and Order Transmission, helping clinicians and operational teams work more efficiently and effectively.

This full-time position, scheduled 8A-5P for 80 hours per pay, provides the chance to participate in all phases of the project life cycle, from project definition and estimating to systems design, implementation, optimization, upgrades, maintenance, and documentation. - Provide advanced-level programming and systems analysis support for a broad array of strategic and tactical projects
- Participate in all phases of the project life cycle, including project definition, estimating, systems design, programming, implementation, maintenance, upgrades, and documentation
- Support the implementation of integrated hospital and corporate computer systems
- Provide functional technical guidance to entry- and intermediate-level programming staff
- Act as a leader and coordinator for team assignments and goals
- Recommend, design, develop, and implement information systems that meet departmental objectives within the functional area of responsibility
- Apply practical experience and advanced operational technical knowledge to build effective business relationships and partnerships
- Integrate advanced technical skills with business knowledge to deliver effective information systems solutions
- Manage all activities involved in developing an information system from initial project review and scope definition to final implementation with minimal supervision
- Respond to software malfunctions within assigned systems and provide support to operations and users to correct issues and prevent recurrence
- Support Epic-related inpatient clinical workflows with emphasis on Inpatient Orders , Order Sets , Order Panels , and Order Transmission
- Perform other duties as assigned

Note: Local Candidates preferred - must be willing to commute and work "in-person" often at the Dayton, Ohio area offices

Preferred candidates will live within 60 miles driving distance to Dayton, Ohio

- Associate Degree with 6+ years of job experience, 3+ years of Epic experience, and Epic Certification required; or Bachelor Degree with 4+ years of job experience, 2+ years of Epic experience, and Epic Certification required
- Degree in IT or related area required; related areas include Nursing, Medical Technology, Radiology, Mathematics, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Laboratory, Pharmacy, or Medicine

*Years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education

- Epic Certification
- Project Management Certification preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to technically contribute as a team member to strategic and tactical projects
- Ability to independently lead tactical projects of advanced complexity
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with technical staff, management, customers, vendors, employees, physicians, patients, and visitors
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
