Can supervise fully remote from any location within the state of OH; however, must reside permanently within the state of OH and must agree to MEET IN PERSON WITH THEIR RESIDENT ONE TIME (INITIAL SUPERVISION MEETING).

Thriveworks is currently seeking Licensed Clinicians to provide clinical supervision and telehealth sessions with patients in Ohio This role is eligible for a competitive ramp stipend for clinicians offering 30+ hours of availability per week.

A mix of telehealth sessions and face-to-face sessions with patients is available at the following locations:

About the Role

We’re hiring licensed clinicians to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to our more than 175,000 clients across the country. You may be a good fit for this role if you’re:

Key Responsibilities

- Provision of supervision to a minimum of six (6) resident clinicians.  Provision of weekly group supervision.  Provision of individual supervision to each resident clinician for every 10 clinical hours. This would equate to a minimum of 7 hours/week for a supervisor, which varies depending on the Resident caseload size.
- Willing to maintain a clinical caseload of seeing clients with at least 10 hours of availability per week (not a supervision-only position)
- Willingness to provide documentation oversight
- Coaching on the professional and clinical development of the resident clinician
- Completion of weekly documentation as evidence of supervision sessions.
- Completion of coaching documentation regarding any disciplinary or performance concerns.
- Collaboration with the Regional Clinical Director regarding any performance issues.

Supervisor Requirements for LPCC-S in OH

LPCC-S Requirements:

- Licensed professional counselors who hold the supervision designation prior to January 1, 2013 may continue to hold that designation as long as they maintain it in good standing. (a) Document a minimum of twenty-four hours of academic preparation or board approved continuing education coursework in counselor supervision training including training six hours in each area as follows:

- (i) Assessment, evaluation and remediation which includes initial, formative and summative assessment of supervisee knowledge, skills and self-awareness; components of evaluation e.g. evaluation criteria and expectations, supervisory procedures, methods for monitoring (both direct and indirect observation) supervisee performance, formal and informal feedback mechanisms, and evaluation processes (both summative and formative), and processes and procedures for remediation of supervisee skills, knowledge, and personal effectiveness and self-awareness;(ii) Counselor development which includes models of supervision, learning models, stages of development and transitions in supervisee/supervisor development, knowledge and skills related to supervision intervention options, awareness of individual differences and learning styles of supervisor and supervisee, awareness and acknowledgement of cultural differences and multicultural competencies needed by supervisors, recognition of relational dynamics in the supervisory relationship, and awareness of the developmental process of the supervisory relationship itself;(iii) Management and administration which includes organizational processes and procedures for recordkeeping, reporting, monitoring of supervisee's cases, collaboration, research and evaluation; agency or institutional policies and procedures for handling emergencies, case assignment and case management, roles and responsibilities of supervisors and supervisees, and expectations of supervisory process within the institution or agency; institutional processes for managing multiple roles of supervisors, and summative and formative evaluation processes; and(iv) Professional responsibilities which includes ethical and legal issues in supervision includes dual relationships, competence, due process in evaluation, informed consent, types of supervisor liability, privileged communication, consultation, etc.; regulatory issues include Ohio laws governing the practice of counseling and counseling supervision, professional standards and credentialing processes in counseling, reimbursement eligibility and procedures, and related institutional or agency procedures.
- (b) Each licensed professional clinical counselor shall obtain a minimum of one year and fifteen hundred hours of clinical experience, post licensed professional clinical counselor licensure, which shall include the diagnosis and treatment of mental and emotional disorders.

- (c) The fifteen hundred hours shall include at least one supervision experience. The licensed professional clinical counselor in training shall observe five training supervision sessions conducted by a licensed professional clinical counselor with a supervisor designation. Following the observation of five training supervision sessions, the licensed professional clinical counselor in training and the supervisor shall conduct a minimum of a one hour review session to process and review the observed sessions. Supervision must start with an initial face to face meeting after which communication may be in person, via video conferencing, or by phone.
- (d) Comply with the American counseling association ""ACA"" ethical standards pertaining to the supervisory relationship.

- (e) Document applicant's familiarity with significant legal, ethical, and clinical issues relevant to the supervisory relationship on a form prescribed by the board.

Supervision Compensation.

- For Clinical Caseload: Clinician will receive Fee For Service rates with bonus potential (ex. 90837 could be $48.70 to $56.49 depending on caseload)
- For Supervision: Provider will be compensated at a rate of seventy dollars and sixty-seven ($70.67) per Individual Supervision session. In the event that the 90837-session code compensation is greater than the individual supervision rate, the 90837 rate (vs code) will be used. The provider will receive a code to document their supervision hours and will be required to complete the recording documentation of such supervision.

That means credentialing, billing, scheduling, and marketing support taken care of for you, plus paid orientation and training to get you started. You'll build a full caseload within 90 days of credentialing, with flexible scheduling available seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET.
