Business Analyst (BT-26182)

The Business Analyst (Full-Time) will support the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) Safety and Mission Assurance Services II (SMAS II) contract located at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama .

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Business Analyst to support financial planning, contract management, and performance reporting across our organization. The ideal candidate will excel in preparing financial analyses, developing contract deliverables, and communicating insights to management. This role also supports electronic task management systems, assists PICs with QuickBase, and contributes to monthly reporting requirements including financial, safety, and status reports. Additionally, the Business Analyst will develop dashboard reporting to monitor key performance indicators and business metrics, ensuring data‑driven decision‑making. A strong analytical mindset, ability to manage multiple priorities, and commitment to high‑quality work are essential for success in this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Interface with management to communicate financial analyses, contract task order status, and business performance insights.

- Perform financial planning and business management tasks to support program and contract objectives.

- Prepare detailed financial analyses and required contract deliverables, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

- Assist in maintaining the electronic task management system used to plan, organize, direct, and control contract activities.

- Support PICs with QuickBase, including troubleshooting workflows and helping maintain accurate task data.

- Assist in preparing recurring contract deliverables such as:

533 Monthly Financial Report

- Monthly Mishap/Safety Report

- Monthly Task/Subtask Status Report

- Develop and manage dashboard reporting to track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.

- Prepare financial analyses as requested by leadership or contract management personnel.

- Other duties as assigned.

- Must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, computer science, management information systems, data analytics, mathematics or a closely related discipline.

- Must have 5+ years of recent and related work experience.

WORK LOCATION:

- This position is located onsite; some travel may be required.

BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS REQUIRED:
