Job Description

Accenture Federal Services is looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployment automation for cloud-based systems supporting the program. You'll work closely with development, operations, and security teams to keep deployments fast, reliable, and secure

What You'll Own

- CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance for containerized applications

- Deployment automation and scaling for containerized environments

- Monitoring and logging implementation for deployed applications

- Infrastructure-as-code development supporting pipeline and environment configuration

- Security best practices integration into deployment pipelines

- Troubleshooting of containerized environments and deployment issues

What You'll Deliver

- CI/CD pipelines that reduce deployment time and increase deployment frequency

- Containerized applications deployed reliably and monitored effectively

- Automated, repeatable deployment and scaling processes

- Documentation of pipeline architecture and operational procedures

Here's What You Need

- 3+ years of experience deploying, managing, or securing applications in a cloud environment — including CI/CD pipeline tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or Ansible), and scripting for automation (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)

- 1+ year of experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack)

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or 4+ years of relevant job or military experience in lieu of degree

- DoD 8140 compliance (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CASP, or equivalent)

Bonus Points If You Have

- AWS Professional or Associate certification

- Experience with multiple cloud environments (Azure, GCP, or Oracle) alongside AWS

- Practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration in a cloud or virtualized environment

- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

- Familiarity with National Security systems and air-gapped environments

Security Requirements

- Active TS clearance required; SCI preferred

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is: $103,200 — $196,400 USD
