Job Summary
Summary

Performs a variety of food service duties in a hospital environment, including food preparation, serving, stocking, sanitation, and customer service. Supports daily operations by ensuring food quality, safety, and excellent service for patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

- Set up food service areas, equipment, and serving stations.
- Prepare and serve hot and cold foods, beverages, salads, sandwiches, and other menu items.
- Stock and replenish food, supplies, utensils, and condiments.
- Transport food and supplies between preparation and service areas.
- Maintain proper food temperatures and follow all food safety standards.
- Monitor food quality and report equipment or supply issues.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and service ware.
- Assist with dishwashing, waste disposal, and general housekeeping duties.
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 2-3 years of food service experience required.
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Knowledge of food preparation, food safety, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to lift and move supplies and equipment as needed.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
