JOB DESCRIPTION

GENERAL FUNCTION

This role will collaborate with the Logistics HR Business Partner as well to support the execution of site HR programs and initiatives when needed, at times leading the initiative and in addition supervise directly or indirectly, the local HRG employees.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Creation and Implementation of schedules and align with the business on head count and employee coverage needs along with the realignment and reassignment of employees will be managed by this role

- Organizational Structure & staffing Models that include temporary and final state of employee and manager structure

- Lead third-party time study to ensure business efficiency and maintain associate trust

- Communication of flow and scoping with frontline and site leadership

- HR Business Partner for eyewear logistics business

- Direct supervision of 1 or 2 HRGs and supports training and managing of the HRGs on campus

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field (or equivalent experience)

- 5+ years’ progressive HR experience

- Strong knowledge of HR policies, processes and programs

- Sense of urgency and drive for results

- Critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills

- Demonstrated success executing change initiatives

- Proven ability to work across multiple functions within a matrix environment

- Responsive, with strong interpersonal, and relationship-building skills

- Strong collaboration and teamwork; reinforces one voice of HR

- Demonstrated ability to treat confidential matters with appropriate discretion

- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Ability to maintain an enthusiastic attitude and low stress level

- Team player with a sense of urgency

- Detail oriented and self-motivated

- Comfortable conversing with all levels of management (executive to store level)

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office

- HR support in Logistics, Distribution, and/or Manufacturing Businesses
