Valet Parking Attendant/Driver

Job Purpose:
- As a Valet Parking Attendant/Driver at PARKING MANAGEMENT SERVICES Inc., your primary purpose is to provide exceptional customer service by efficiently parking and retrieving vehicles for guests. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of vehicles while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with parking and retrieving their vehicles in a timely manner.
- Operate vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized parking area, ensuring the efficient flow of traffic.
- Communicate effectively with guests, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles for any damage or issues and report findings to management.
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and address any challenges promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of parked vehicles and manage keys securely.
- Assist in resolving any guest concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a valet parking attendant or in a similar driving role.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record for a minimum of 2 years.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent driving skills with the ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor and appearance.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
-- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1)Must be able to remain upright continuously on a hard surface for an 8-10 hour shift.
2)Must be able to move a minimum of 25 pounds up to 5 feet high without the aid of another person.
3)Must be able to position ones self appropriately in order to efficiently move from one area to another including other garages several blocks away.
4)Must be able to talk, clearly communicate, hear audible alarms, voice commands with background noise.
5)Must be able to visually identify numbers, colors & shapes, including peripheral
6)Occasionally (1/3 of the time or less) stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; reach, pull, push with hands and arms above/below head; use repeating motions more than twice per minute; repetition-using an input device-a keyboard or mouse-in a steady manner.
7)Regularly (2/3 of the time or more) work in outdoor weather conditions to include direct sunlight ,heat or cold; work in extreme heat (non-weather); use motorized company vehicle or a leased or personal vehicle for company business; maintain a valid drivers license.
