We are looking for a Regional Sales Lead to join our Rheumatology team, based in the field for the Southeast territory.
About the role
The Regional Sales Lead (RSL) is responsible for delivering regional business results through the development, coaching, and leadership of first-line sales leaders. While achieving sales and market share objectives remains critical, the primary measure of success is the ability to build a high-performing leadership bench that consistently develops exceptional sales teams, advances talent, and creates a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
The RSL serves as a “coach of coaches”, ensuring District Sales Leaders possess the capabilities, confidence, and leadership skills required to execute strategy, inspire teams, and achieve outstanding business outcomes.
Who you’ll work with
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Market Access, Medical, Commercial Operations, and other stakeholders to maximize regional success and spending significant field time observing and coaching District Sales Leaders and Sales Representatives.
What you’ll do
- Deliver regional sales objectives through effective execution of commercial strategies.
- Translate national priorities into actionable regional plans.
- Develop first-line leaders into highly effective people leaders through consistent field coaching, mentoring, and leadership development planning.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions focused on leadership effectiveness, talent management, business acumen, strategic thinking, and execution excellence.
- Create individualized development plans for each District Sales Leader, ensuring measurable growth against leadership competencies.
- Build a strong succession pipeline by identifying, developing, and preparing future leaders.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, feedback, and professional growth.
- Coaching excellence and role modeling leadership behaviors aligned with company values and expectations.
- Lead talent review processes and ensure robust development discussions for all regional leaders.
- Recruit, onboard, retain, and develop a diverse group of high-caliber leaders capable of building high-performing teams.
- Assess leadership capabilities and proactively address skill gaps.
- Support leaders in effectively managing performance, engagement, recognition, and career development.

Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10+ years of successful pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sales experience
- 5+ years of first-line sales leadership experience
- Ability and willingness to travel greater than 50%
- Reside in the Southeast territory preferable near a major airport
Preferred requirements
- Prior experience in the immunology marketplace as a District Sales Leader, Field Reimbursement Leader, or comparable First-line leadership role.
- Demonstrated success leading leaders
- Demonstrated successful leadership experience, including developing people, engaging employees and customers, retaining high-performing talent, identifying and developing high-potential employees, and building successful teams
- Strong coaching and performance management capabilities
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Track record of developing and promoting talent
This position reasonably anticipated base salary range is $216,000-284,000K. The actual salary offered will take into account related knowledge, skills, experience and location among other factors and may fall outside the expected range.
