GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND VALUES:
- Practice, support, and promote the Mission and Values of Muckleshoot Bingo and the shared leadership standards of the Muckleshoot enterprise.
- Maintain utmost confidentiality regarding all information, both written and verbal.
- Comply with applicable MIB and MCR policies, procedures, internal controls, enterprise standards, and approved operating protocols.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provides executive property leadership for MIB and manages day-to-day operations within the authority delegated by the CEO and in accordance with applicable Tribal Council directives, Muckleshoot Tribal Gaming Commission requirements, National Indian Gaming Commission requirements, approved policies, procedures, internal controls, budgets, and enterprise standards.
- Ensures Tribal Council directives applicable to MIB are executed and provides timely, accurate reporting through the established CEO/COO governance structure; participates in Tribal Council, Gaming Advisory Board, or other governance meetings as requested.
- Translates enterprise strategy and approved MIB objectives into property-level operating plans, priorities, measurable goals, and execution standards.
- Owns MIB property performance, including revenue, operating income/EBITDA, labor productivity, expense management, budget performance, guest metrics, and other approved key performance indicators.
- Works with Finance and other enterprise functions to prepare accurate financial, operational, and performance reporting for the CEO/COO and Tribal leadership as required.
- Reviews operating, financial, guest, workforce, and market results with MIB and MCR leadership and initiates corrective actions, business optimization, and performance-improvement plans when needed.
- Leads property communication and change-management efforts so MIB Team Members understand approved organizational, policy, and operational changes, including the business rationale, expectations, timelines, and accountability.
- Partners with the MCR Chief Marketing Officer and leads the MIB Marketing team to establish MIB-specific marketing priorities and plans, protect the distinct Bingo brand and guest base, and execute approved advertising, promotions, player development, and communication strategies.
- Exercises purchasing and expenditure authority within approved delegation-of-authority limits and budget; partners with Finance, Strategic Sourcing, Facilities, IT, Gaming, Support Operations and other functional owners for purchases requiring enterprise review or approval.
- Leads and develops the MIB property management team and participates in hiring, performance management, discipline, compensation, succession, and organizational decisions in partnership with Human Resources and applicable MCR functional executives, consistent with approved policies and delegated authority.
- Exercises or delegates signatory authority only within approved enterprise and property-level authorization limits.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the CEO and supports enterprise priorities affecting MIB.
- Serves as the primary property leader and business partner between MIB operations and MCR enterprise functions. Establishes MIB business priorities and operational needs, works collaboratively with the appropriate enterprise executives to coordinate resources and support, monitors the effectiveness of services provided to the property, and escalates unresolved issues through the established CEO/COO governance structure.
- Identifies and advances revenue-generating, expense-reduction, labor-efficiency, guest-experience, and operational-improvement opportunities; ensures initiatives are supported by measurable impact, ownership, target dates, and follow-up.
- Maintains a strong focus on the performance and competitiveness of Live Bingo and Video Gaming Devices (VGDs), including product mix, utilization, guest demand, service standards, and capital/reinvestment needs, in partnership with the appropriate gaming executives.
- Protects MIB's distinct brand, culture, community role, and loyal guest relationships while leveraging the resources, expertise, systems, and scale of MCR.
- Builds leadership capability and succession depth within MIB; establishes clear expectations, accountability, cross-functional teamwork, and consistent performance standards for managers and supervisors.
- Escalates material operational, financial, regulatory, employee, guest, or reputational risks promptly through the established CEO/COO governance process and ensures corrective actions are tracked to completion.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
EXTENT OF JOB AUTHORITY:
Executive property authority over MIB day-to-day operations within approved policies, budgets, internal controls, organizational structure, enterprise functional authority, and delegation-of-authority limits. The General Manager is accountable for total MIB property performance but does not independently supersede enterprise executives' functional authority in shared-service disciplines.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS (required/preferred):
- Must obtain and maintain all gaming licenses and certifications required for the position, including the applicable Class IIIA gaming license.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE (required and preferred) :
- Bachelors degree in business administration, finance, or related field required. Extensive (+10 years) Director of Gaming experience may be considered in lieu of college degree requirements.
- Seven (7) years of senior-level gaming management experience in purchasing, budgeting, financial reporting, expense analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and financial statement interpretation required.
- Three (3) years experience at an executive-level position in a large, high-volume, multi-unit gaming operation required.
SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR POSITION :
- Executive-level leadership, judgment, communication, and decision-making capability, including the ability to operate effectively within Tribal governance and a matrixed enterprise structure.
- Strong P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, labor management, and business-performance skills.
- Demonstrated ability to establish measurable operating goals, use data and KPIs to evaluate performance, and hold leaders accountable for results.
- Strong change-leadership and organizational-integration skills, including the ability to communicate change clearly, build alignment, manage resistance, and maintain Team Member engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional work with enterprise executives while maintaining clear property accountability and avoiding duplication of functional authority.
- Strong knowledge of Bingo operations and Video Gaming Devices (VGDs), with the ability to assess product performance, guest demand, operating standards, and reinvestment opportunities.
- Thorough understanding of Tribal gaming regulation, internal controls, compliance requirements, and the ability to balance regulatory discipline with guest service and operational effectiveness.
- Exceptional guest-service orientation and commitment to preserving MIB's distinct identity, culture, community role, and loyal guest relationships.
- Strong talent-development, coaching, conflict-management, succession-planning, and team-building skills.
- Strong project-management and execution skills, including milestone management, risk identification, escalation, follow-up, and completion of cross-functional initiatives.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial, operational, regulatory, legal, and technical information and convert findings into practical business decisions.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills with Team Members, guests, Tribal leadership, regulators, business partners, vendors, and community stakeholders.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant gaming, financial, workforce, reporting, and business-intelligence systems.
