Basic Qualifications

* Final Top Secret security clearance with a current background investigation or CV date within the last five years.
* 8+ years' experience as a Contractor Special Access Program (SAP) Security Officer (CSSO), Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO), or government Program Security Officer (PSO)/Program Security Representative (PSR)
* Experience with SAP facility build/accreditation processes
* Experience with Department of War (DOW) SAP Personnel Security (PERSEC) procedures/processes, Defense Information Security System (DISS), and clearance requirements
* Experience writing policy & procedures such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Operation Security (OPSEC) Plans & Construction Security Plans (CSP)

Standard Job Description

This position requires Final Top Secret security clearance with a current background investigation or CV date within the last five years and ability to obtain SCI access.

The Security Manager responsibilities include:

* Manages a team of security professional professionals tasked to provide security guidance and enforce compliance to specific Space portfolios.
* Develops, administers and audits security programs for compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified material and export controlled data.
* Develops and executes security programs associated with the protection of proprietary information in compliance with corporate policies.
* Performs in individual and team roles supporting all contractual security requirements for Special Access Programs (SAP), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs or DOD collateral classified programs.
* Enables team of Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO) or a Security Representatives with training, development, and mentorship opportunities.
* Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company compliance and contract execution as set forth in SAP security rules (DOWM/JSIG), SCI security rules (ICD) or DOW industrial security rules (NISPOM).
* Works closely with U. S. Government customers to seek contract execution approvals and seeks security rulings or deviations.
* Provides support in managing the quality, schedule and cost expectations associated with program development and execution, while maintaining the fundamental security requirements defined by the customer/company and program.
* Prepares implementation manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to classified materials.
* Develops and conducts security education classes.
* Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
* Applies business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges, and communicates observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners.
* Processes clearances and customer visits and provides support for classified meetings.

Desired Skills

* Bachelors and Masters Degree in associated security, management, or related fields
* Professional certifications through the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA)
* Previous management experience in high opstempo environments

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $123400.00 - $229200.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
