Our optical cells are 10,000x smaller than traditional photonic components, enabling unprecedented density. By using photonics instead of electricity, our chips become more efficient as they scale. This architecture will deliver up to 100 times the energy efficiency of existing solutions while significantly improving performance for large-scale AI inference.

Position Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Recruiting Coordinator to join our Talent team to help us scale. We’ve grown 4x in a year and will likely do the same again next year. We need a team member focused on keeping candidates engaged in our process, creating a great experience, and moving them forward quickly. This role will own scheduling, pipeline management, ATS data hygiene, onsite experience, and continuous improvement in our interviewing process. This will be the first dedicated recruiting coordinator at Neurophos, and this person will have the opportunity to define the function and build the systems and standards that will be used going forward.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Senior Director of Talent & Recruiting and two Lead Technical Recruiters. Our goal is to hire at least 10 people per month in 2027, likely more.
- Own interview scheduling across roles, including onsites.
- Run the onsite candidate day in Austin: greet candidates, manage the loop, coordinate lab and facility tours with engineering hosts.
- Book and reconcile candidate travel, lodging, and interview-day expenses, and act as the candidate's point of contact for logistics.
- Schedule debriefs, collect interviewer feedback, and keep candidates updated at every stage.
- Maintain Ashby as the source of truth by enforcing pipeline hygiene, stage accuracy, and data integrity to ensure trustworthy funnel reporting.
- Build out processes and systems such as scheduling playbooks, interview loop templates, and interviewer-facing guides.
- Drive continuous improvement of our workflows and processes.
- Onboard new interviewers and hiring managers to our interviewing workflow.

Qualifications

- 4+ years coordinating technical interviews at a startup or high-growth company.
- Hands-on ownership of a modern ATS (Ashby strongly preferred), including reporting.
- Experience supporting a distributed hiring team or multiple hiring sites.
- Demonstrated experience running in-person onsite interview days, including booking candidate travel and troubleshooting on the day of.
- Track record of designing or improving a recruiting process: playbooks, templates, or workflow changes.
- Proficiency in Google or Outlook calendaring at a level where you can resolve conflicts across calendars without escalating.
- Strong judgment in triaging tasks and prioritizing overlapping requests.
- Proven discretion with confidential candidate, compensation, and personnel information.
- Based in or able to relocate to Austin, able to work onsite five days per week.

Preferred Skills

- Experience coordinating loops for principal, staff, and executive-level candidates.
- Familiarity with scheduling automation or AI recruiting tools.

Compensation

$42 – $50 per hour • Offers Equity • Offers Bonus
