Cost Estimating (CE) is a function of Global Material Cost as part of Product Development.
Behind every vehicle that rolls off the line are a thousand decisions about cost, value, and efficiency, decisions that determine whether an idea becomes an affordable, profitable, world-class product.
We're looking for a Cost Engineer who doesn't just crunch numbers, but who sees the story behind them: the supplier negotiation that saved program millions, the material substitution that improved margin without compromising quality, the forecast that gave leadership the confidence to greenlight the next big launch.
If you're the kind of person who gets energized by solving complex puzzles, who can translate spreadsheets into strategy, and who wants your analysis to directly influence vehicles driven by millions of people — this role was built for you.
- Bachelor of Industrial Engineering or similar.
- English advanced.
- Manufacturing processes knowledge (Tube Fabrication, Hose Extrusion, Plastic Injection, Steel Stamping, Plating, Coating, Brazing, Final Assembly)
- Capable of interpreting technical drawings (ED&T) and 3D visualization models.
Others: Lean Manufacturing principles and Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills are desired.
