Accountabilities
- Provide operational leadership and oversight for systemwide initiatives involving complex projects, executive sponsors, and multiple stakeholders.
- Support the development, planning, implementation, and delivery of strategic initiatives aligned with organizational priorities and culture.
- Apply standardized project management methodologies, processes, and tools to maintain consistency and accountability across initiatives.
- Coordinate stakeholders and project activities to ensure initiatives are delivered within approved budgets, schedules, and quality expectations.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks or operational challenges, and support timely resolution of issues.
- Contribute to quality improvement and cost-reduction initiatives where applicable.
- Facilitate collaboration across departments and support effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain appropriate project documentation, processes, and reporting to support transparency and successful execution.
Requirements
- Associate degree required; bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
- At least 2 years of professional experience, preferably within a healthcare or similarly complex operational environment.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred, or willingness and ability to obtain certification within one year of hire.
- Experience supporting or leading projects involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and defined timelines.
- Experience with quality improvement, operational optimization, or cost-reduction initiatives preferred.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage stakeholders at different organizational levels.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to delivering work within established standards, budgets, and deadlines.
