Reports To: VP of Business Development

Location: Midland, Texas

Amount of Travel Required: 20%

Positions Supervised: Sales Managers, Hyperscale Sales Manager

AIP Level: 4

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. ; overtime as necessary.

. POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Business Development is responsible for driving the growth and expansion of a company by identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and overseeing the execution of initiatives that enhance revenue streams. This role typically involves market research, networking with key stakeholders, leading negotiations, and ensuring that new business ventures align with the companys long-term goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

- Lead pursuit of new build power generation orders

- Develop & manage new business sales pipeline with executive level E&P stakeholders.

- Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business opportunities within all applicable markets.

- Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources.

- Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals.

- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy.

- Use technical acumen & relationship with operations team to ensure successful transition to operations with new clients.

- Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.

- Valid U.S. Drivers License required. Most employment is contingent upon meeting company driving standards, including 3 year U.S. driving history and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy .

- Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).

- In-person, daily predictable attendance in Midland, Texas.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL

- Bachelors degree in business or related field required.

- 7+ years of experience in Power Generation required.

- Successful track record in sales required.

- Extensive relationships within E&P sector – executive level highly preferred

- Financial acumen to build proposals required.

Frequently required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach and squat/kneel. The Director of Business Development works primarily indoors in the office. If required to go to a worksite, the work environment includes exposure to hazardous materials and operating conditions. Given these conditions employees are required to wear company mandated personal protective equipment and must strictly adhere to safety policy.

Work hours may include early morning, late afternoon/evening hours, and weekends in combination depending on job demands.
