As a Talent Acquisition Specialist , you'll play a key role in building the teams that keep Carma moving. You'll be responsible for delivering end-to-end recruitment across our corporate teams, partnering closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and finding the people who will help us deliver.
This is a hands-on, high-volume TA role where you'll balance speed and scale with a great candidate experience. From sourcing and screening to assessment centres, offers and talent pooling, you'll own your roles end-to-end while helping us continuously improve the way we recruit.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end recruitment across Carma's automotive corporate teams, from job brief through to offer and pre-start.
- Build and execute practical sourcing strategies across high-volume a variety of roles roles using job boards, direct sourcing, referrals, talent pools and other channels.
- Source, attract and engage candidates, proactively building pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and translate them into clear recruitment briefs, job descriptions and compelling job advertisements.
- Screen and assess candidates through CV review, phone screens, interviews, testing and other assessment methods.
- Coordinate and support assessment centres, group interviews and high-volume recruitment campaigns.
- Keep candidates engaged throughout the process, delivering a seamless experience that brings Carma's culture and values to life.
- Provide hiring managers with market insight, candidate feedback and recruitment recommendations to support effective hiring decisions.
- Build and maintain talent pools to create a more proactive and sustainable approach to recruitment.
- Ensure Pinpoint, our ATS, is accurate and up to date throughout the recruitment lifecycle, from candidate data through to templates and forms.
- Track recruitment activity and identify bottlenecks, trends and opportunities to improve hiring outcomes.
- Work closely with the wider TA and People Experience team to improve recruitment processes, candidate experience, assessment and reporting.
- Look for smarter ways to recruit, including leveraging technology, automation, AI and new sourcing channels to make our TA function more effective.
- Be a true recruitment partner to your stakeholders—taking accountability, following up and closing the loop on every interaction.
- Be hands-on when hiring volumes demand it, jumping into sourcing, screening, interviewing and recruitment campaigns to get the right people through the door.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end recruitment in a complex fast-paced scale-up environment.
- A strong track record of managing high-volume recruitment while maintaining quality and candidate experience.
- Confident sourcing and engaging candidates across multiple channels, with the ability to build talent pipelines rather than relying solely on applications.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with hiring managers and understand their recruitment needs.
- Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities without losing momentum.
- A proactive, hands-on approach—you're comfortable working at pace, getting stuck in and figuring things out when the path isn't always clear.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and building structure and better ways of working in a fast-growing environment.
- Experience working with an ATS, recruitment platforms and other TA technology; Pinpoint experience would be advantageous.
- A continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways to make recruitment faster, simpler and better.
