Responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities:**
* Monitor and control various refinery and fractionation process units using Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and other control panels.
* Conduct routine inspections of equipment, pipelines, and instrumentation, identifying and reporting any abnormalities or potential hazards.
* Perform start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures for process units in accordance with established protocols.
* Collect and analyze samples to ensure product specifications are met, making necessary adjustments to process parameters.
* Troubleshoot operational issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
* Adhere to all safety regulations, environmental policies, and company procedures.
* Maintain accurate operational logs and records, including production data, equipment status, and maintenance activities.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and maintenance personnel regarding operational status and issues.
* Participate in safety drills, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Qualifications:**
* Diploma or Nitec in Chemical Process Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and other technical drawings.
* Familiarity with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and field instrumentation.
* Strong understanding of safety procedures and environmental regulations in a process plant environment.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
* Physically capable of performing duties in an industrial setting, including climbing stairs, working at heights, and in varying weather conditions.
* Must be willing to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
