Sephora SEA’s omni channel business spans over 8 countries (Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand) with 100+ stores and boasts some global flagships such as ION and Raffles City in Singapore, F88 in Kuala Lumpur and Pitt Street in Sydney. Sephora SEA is experiencing rapid growth in the region with new store openings and business channels (i.e., Click and collect and marketplace).

The Pillar

The Treasury pillar safeguards financial stability and supports growth by ensuring disciplined cash visibility, liquidity readiness, treasury controls and working capital performance. The team creates stability through clear treasury governance, reliable operating rhythms and robust execution of cash management activities, while building readiness to partner for growth through stronger forecasting, better risk visibility, scalable processes and closer collaboration with country finance, business teams and external banking partners.

The Role

The Manager, Treasury leads the pillar and is accountable for safeguarding liquidity, strengthening cash discipline and building a capable treasury team ready to support growth. The role owns treasury governance, liquidity oversight, cash flow forecasting, working capital performance, banking relationships and treasury-related decision support across the region.

This role reports directly to the Regional Finance Director.

Treasury Governance and Oversight

- Lead the Treasury pillar with clear operating rhythms, service expectations and controls that support reliable treasury execution across the region.

- Own treasury governance, policies, approval flows and documentation standards across banking, funding, payments, settlements and treasury reporting.

- Set priorities for liquidity visibility, cash discipline, working capital performance and operational resilience, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.

Cash Flow and Working Capital Management

- Lead cash flow forecasting, target tracking and variance analysis across budget, forecast and rolling outlook cycles, highlighting risks, opportunities and required actions.

- Partner with SSC, country finance, and relevant functional teams to drive working capital actions across inventory, receivables and payables.

Treasury Operations

- Oversee day-to-day treasury operations, including cash positioning, bank account administration, payment support, intercompany settlements, treasury reporting and issue resolution.

- Maintain accurate and timely treasury dashboards, cash reports and operational trackers to support cash visibility, decision-making and escalation of issues.

- Ensure treasury transactions, records and supporting documentation are complete, accurate, controlled and audit-ready.

Banking, Risk and Stakeholder Management

- Manage relationships with banks, payment providers and Group Treasury to support efficient banking structures, reliable issue resolution and competitive terms.

- Monitor treasury-related risks, including liquidity, foreign exchange, interest rate, payment and banking concentration risks, and recommend practical mitigation actions.

- Represent Treasury in business reviews and transformation initiatives where cash flow, funding, working capital or payment implications are material.

Project Management

- Lead the Treasury transformation roadmap, prioritising initiatives that improve cash visibility, operational efficiency, controls and scalability.

- Establish project plans, milestones, governance, success measures, risk tracking and stakeholder engagement plans for treasury and banking initiatives.

- Partner with Director, FP&A SEAO, Group Treasury, country finance teams and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, adoption and sustainability of treasury projects.

Team Leadership

- Lead, coach and develop team members within the pillar to build technical treasury capability, ownership mindset and readiness to support growth.

- Clarify accountabilities, service expectations and ways of working so the team can execute with stability, consistency and confidence.

- Delegate ownership effectively to reduce key-person dependency, strengthen succession readiness and enable greater autonomy across roles.

We would love to hear from you if you are/have…

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Treasury, Economics or a related discipline; professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CFA, CTP or equivalent would be advantageous.

- At least 8 years of relevant experience in treasury, corporate finance, cash management, liquidity planning or related finance roles, preferably in a multinational or retail environment.

- Strong expertise in cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, working capital management and treasury reporting.

- Solid understanding of banking operations, payment processes, intercompany settlements, funding structures and treasury controls.

- Experience managing banking relationships, payment providers and regional or group treasury stakeholders.

- Strong understanding of treasury-related risks, including liquidity, foreign exchange, interest rate, payment and banking concentration risks.

- Proven ability to translate treasury, cash flow and working capital data into clear insights and recommendations for leadership.

- Strong project-management capability, with experience in treasury transformation, process improvement or banking-related initiatives.

- Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills

- Advanced Excel and financial systems skills; experience with SAP, treasury management systems, banking platforms or business intelligence tools would be advantageous.
