About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation & Automation Superintendent to support commissioning and start-up activities for a large-scale international energy project.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of instrumentation, control, and automation systems throughout commissioning and handover phases while coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams.

Location: Geoje, South Korea
Duration: 12 Months (renewable subject to project requirements)

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise instrumentation and automation commissioning activities.

- Coordinate testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of instrumentation and control systems.

- Ensure all activities comply with project specifications, procedures, and industry standards.

- Provide technical support and guidance to commissioning teams.

- Interface with engineering, construction, operations, and vendors to resolve technical issues.

- Monitor project progress and support troubleshooting efforts during system start-up.

- Promote and maintain the highest standards of safety and quality throughout all project activities.

Requirements

- Significant experience in Instrumentation & Control (I&C) and Automation systems within the Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, or Energy industries.

- Proven experience in commissioning and start-up activities.

- Previous offshore commissioning experience.

- Strong knowledge of process control systems, DCS, PLC, ESD, F&G, and field instrumentation.

- Ability to work effectively within multicultural and multidisciplinary project environments.

- Excellent communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience on LNG, FLNG, or major energy infrastructure projects.

- Previous involvement in large EPC projects.

- Strong leadership and team coordination capabilities.

- Ability to work in an international project environment.
