Your New Role

Are you passionate about data, analytics and emerging technologies, and excited by the opportunity to build expertise in Investments?

As Analyst, BI & Analytics , you'll join the Investment Data team within Data Services and help deliver trusted analytics, reporting and data products that support investment decision-making across the Fund. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone looking to develop deep Investment Data expertise while building sought-after skills across BI, analytics, automation, AI and modern data platforms.

Whether you're coming from a Data & Analytics background and looking to learn Investments, or from an Investments background and looking to deepen your technical capabilities, this role provides exposure to leading technologies, complex business challenges and a highly supportive team environment.

You'll help shape how data is delivered to stakeholders, moving beyond traditional dashboard development towards reusable data products, self-service analytics and AI-powered insights that enable faster, smarter decision-making.

What You'll Do

- Develop and enhance analytics, reporting and data products that deliver trusted insights to investment stakeholders.
- Use Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SQL, Power Platform and related technologies to analyse, model and visualise data.
- Contribute to reusable datasets, semantic models and self-service analytics capabilities.
- Identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI to improve analytics, productivity and business outcomes.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate business needs into scalable solutions.
- Support data quality, governance and continuous improvement initiatives across Investment Data.

What You'll Need

- Experience in Data, Analytics, BI, Reporting or related disciplines. If you come from an Investments background, the depth of expertise in the technical components of the role are less important, providing the desire is there to learn
- Strong understanding of data concepts, analytics methodologies and modern BI tools.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI and Microsoft analytics technologies.
- Experience working with data modelling, reporting, process automation or workflow optimisation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex datasets.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Curiosity, learning agility and a genuine desire to continuously expand your knowledge and capabilities.
- Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with tools such as Jira.

Highly regarded:

- Investment Data, Investment Operations, Financial Services or Superannuation experience.
- Understanding of financial instruments and investment data concepts.
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, AI-powered analytics, Power Platform, SQL, Python or related technologies.
- Experience designing reusable data products and self-service analytics solutions.
- Interest in AI and emerging technologies, with a desire to help shape the future of analytics delivery.
