Principal Engineering Analyst

- As a Principal Engineering Analyst, you will provide deep technical leadership within SURF (Subsea Umbilicals, Risers, and Flowlines) domain, leading large and complex multi-disciplinary projects while independently making high-impact engineering decisions and recognizing when to engage senior leadership. This role is critical to Oceaneering’s delivery and growth strategy, acting as a single point of contact for assigned business units, influencing functional strategy, mentoring engineers and SMEs, and driving continuous improvement in engineering quality, processes, and customer value.

- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as required, to support multi-disciplinary project oversight, customer and business unit interactions, and enterprise-level technical initiatives.

Education & Experience:

- Post Graduation (Master's degree) in Mechanical/Civil/Ocean/ Naval Architecture/ Subsea (or related) Engineering with minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience, OR
- Graduation (Bachelor's degree) in Mechanical/Ocean/ Naval Architecture/ Subsea (or related) Engineering with minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

- Expert level knowledge of FEA and SURF Local and Global Analysis using relevant CAE software (e.g., OrcaFlex, UFlex, ANSYS, RISA, Sesam).
- Strong knowledge of multiple applicable industry codes and standards (ASME, DNV, API, AISC, etc.).
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
