Job Description:

PDK Development & Integration

- Develop and maintain in‑house Process Design Kits (PDKs)
- Customize external foundry PDKs for Microchip design teams
- Ensure compatibility and integration of: Simulation collateral
- Physical verification collateral
- Parasitic extraction collateral

Cadence Tool Automation

- Create and maintain automation utilities using: Cadence SKILL (Cadence scripting language)
- Linux shell scripting

- Improve design productivity through: Flow automation
- Environment configuration
- Design data management

User Support & Training

- Provide worldwide support for: Cadence design capture tools
- Cadence layout tools
- PDK usage and troubleshooting

- Deliver training (in‑person and online).
- Maintain web‑based documentation for design teams.

Requirements/Qualifications:

5+ years of relevant experience in:

- Custom integrated circuit (IC) design environments
- Process Design Kit (PDK) development, maintenance, and support
- Cadence Virtuoso‑based design capture and layout flows
- Automation and scripting for IC design productivity (using Python, SKILL, Bash, Perl)
