IT Project Engineer - Shirpur

Educational Qualification
• Graduate Engineer or Diploma holder in any relevant discipline.

Professional Experience
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the deployment, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure projects. Candidates with experience exclusively in software project management will not be considered.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Fire Alarm Systems, Firefighting Systems, Public Address (PA) Systems, and Intelligent Building Management Systems (IBMS). Experience in system design and architecture will be highly desirable.
• Proven experience in successfully executing multiple IT infrastructure projects, particularly for new office premises, commercial buildings, and other large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities / Job Requirements
• Manage the overall planning, implementation, and rollout of IT infrastructure projects, including coordination and integration with existing IT infrastructure and systems.
• Plan, design, schedule, and execute IT infrastructure projects in coordination with consultants, architects, internal teams, and selected System Integrator (SI) partners.
• Conduct IT infrastructure assessments and prepare and raise Purchase Requisitions (PRs) based on project requirements.
• Coordinate with the Purchase Department for timely release of Purchase Orders (POs) and liaise with IT vendors for material delivery, storage, and inventory management.
• Ensure implementation of IT infrastructure projects in accordance with approved IT designs, specifications, project schedules, and quality standards.
• Plan, organize, direct, and control activities and resources required for the execution of multiple, simultaneous IT infrastructure projects, while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Communicate, share, and align project plans, IT systems, processes, and implementation schedules with relevant functional stakeholders.
• Manage the implementation of IT infrastructure components, including horizontal and vertical network cabling, Hub Room design and setup, network infrastructure, rack installation and mounting, switch configuration, Wi-Fi Access Point (AP) deployment, IP Telephony (IPT), and other related systems.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, IT teams, SI partners, and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation, integration, tracking, successful completion, testing, and handover of projects to the Operations Team.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including PRs, POs, delivery challans, installation reports, configuration reports, testing and commissioning
reports, site certifications, agreements, Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), and contract rates for IT equipment and services.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings with relevant stakeholders for IT project rollout, implementation, integration, and progress monitoring.
• Manage documentation, tendering processes, and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and prepare technical comparative statements and evaluations to support the finalization of vendors and service providers.
• Track procurement activities, material deliveries, and project progress, and coordinate with the Purchase Department for verification and approval of vendor bills for processing.
• Plan and schedule system downtime required for IT infrastructure implementation, integration, migration, testing, and commissioning, ensuring minimum disruption to ongoing operations.
• Ensure adherence to established project management processes, documentation standards, organizational policies, and audit requirements.
• Prepare, review, and validate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for Fire Alarm and Public Address (FAPA) Systems, Firefighting (FF) Systems, and Intelligent Building Management Systems (IBMS).
• Work closely with architects, MEP consultants, and other project consultants to ensure effective coordination, timely implementation, progress tracking, successful project completion, testing, commissioning, and handover to the Operations Team.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
