## Job Summary



The Associate Developer – IT is an individual contributor responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting data engineering and analytics solutions for business users. The role focuses on building scalable Snowflake data warehouse solutions , developing Python-based ETL pipelines , and optimizing data processing workflows to support enterprise reporting and analytics.

What a typical day will look like:

- Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake stored procedures, tasks, streams, and data pipelines .
- Build and support Python ETL/ELT frameworks for data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple source systems.
- Develop scalable and efficient solutions to address functional and business requirements within the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).
- Analyze and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and query performance in Snowflake.
- Implement data quality checks, error handling, monitoring, and logging mechanisms within ETL processes.
- Work closely with business users, analysts, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver analytical solutions.
- Participate in application development, enhancement, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
- Leverage Snowflake features such as Secure Views, Dynamic Tables, Tasks, Streams, Snowpark, and Time Travel where appropriate.
- Contribute to data integration projects involving cloud platforms, databases, and enterprise reporting tools.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to understand and work with relational data models.
- Hands-on experience in developing and optimizing Snowflake SQL scripts, stored procedures, and ETL workflows .
- Experience with Python programming for data engineering and automation.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts, data warehousing principles, and dimensional modeling.
- Ability to tune and optimize data loads, transformations, and query performance.
- Experience working with databases such as Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL .
- Understanding of data validation, data quality, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn new cloud and data technologies.
- 1.5 to 3 years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL Development, or Data Warehouse Development.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Snowflake .
- Experience in developing Python-based ETL pipelines using libraries such as Pandas, PySpark, SQLAlchemy, or Snowpark .
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP .
- Exposure to reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or MicroStrategy .
- Familiarity with source control tools such as Git and CI/CD practices.
- Knowledge of data orchestration tools such as Airflow, Azure Data Factory, Informatica, or similar platforms .
