Job Description

As Technical Sales & Project Manager, you will play a key role in bringing our Industrial IoT solutions from first customer discussions and pilots to successful implementation and scalable rollouts.

Your main focus will be on customer project management and the managing of our Industrial IoT product and solution portfolio.

Main Responsibilities:

Project Management

- Lead international customer projects from initial requirements and proof-of-concept to implementation and rollout

- Act as the key interface between customers and our technical and commercial teams

- Translate customer requirements into viable IoT solutions and coordinate cross-functional project activities

- Visit customers and prospects and support the development of new applications and business opportunities

Product & Portfolio Management

- Shape and further develop our Industrial IoT product and solution portfolio

- Identify market needs, competitive developments and opportunities for new products and features

- Translate customer and market requirements into product requirements and roadmap priorities

- Support product positioning and technical product marketing

Qualifications

Education

- Technical education such as HTL, university or university of applied sciences degree in engineering, electronics, mechatronics, computer science, industrial engineering or a comparable field

Experience

- A minimum of 3+ years professional experience in Industrial IoT, IoT, Industry 4.0 or comparable connected technology environments

- Strong technical and system-level understanding of IoT solutions combining hardware, displays, sensors, connectivity, infrastructure and software

- Experience in technical project management, ideally in customer-facing projects

- Experience with industrial customers and complex B2B environments

- Experience with hardware or electronic product development is considered a plus

Skills/Abilities:

- Ability to understand customer challenges and translate them into technical requirements and implementable solutions 
- You enjoy working directly with customers and turning ideas into real-world solutions

- You are curious about new technologies and enjoy developing new products, use cases and markets

- You communicate openly and confidently with both technical and commercial stakeholders

- You enjoy taking ownership rather than simply administering existing processes

- You are comfortable working independently in a dynamic, international and cross-functional environment 
- Fluent English, both written and spoken, additional languages are a plus

- You are willing to travel regularly (up to 25%)

For the advertised position, the collective agreement (KV) minimum base salary is € 3,954,00 gross per month, with a willingness to pay above the KV depending on actual qualifications (for full-time employment).
