About the Role:
As a Warehouse Operation Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the compliant and efficient handling, storage, and distribution of materials, drug substances, and products. This position involves maintaining accurate records, monitoring storage conditions, and supporting warehouse operations to meet GMP standards. By ensuring seamless operations, you will help BioNTech deliver high-quality products that transform lives.

Your Contribution:

- Execute operations such as receipt, inspection, storage, shelving, issuance, return, and shipment of materials, drug substances, and products in compliance with approved SOPs

- Categorize and store materials/products based on their specific storage conditions and status requirements; ensure clear labeling and effective segregation of approved items, items pending inspection, returned items, and non-conforming items

- Monitor warehouse temperature/humidity and cold chain requirements; conduct regular inspections of storage environments and equipment; promptly report abnormalities to the Warehouse Manager and QA while supporting investigation processes

- Maintain accurate warehouse logs, system data, and paper records to ensure traceable inventory information (batch numbers, quantities, locations, expiry dates)

- Perform cleaning and maintenance of warehouse areas, shelves, pallets, tools/equipment in compliance with GMP requirements

- Conduct regular inventory counts as planned and assist with additional tasks assigned by the department supervisor

A Good Match:

- Experience in warehouse operations within a GMP-regulated environment is highly preferred

- Familiarity with handling materials/products requiring specific storage conditions (e.g., cold chain management)

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records and compliance

- Ability to follow SOPs precisely while ensuring a clean and orderly workspace

- Proactive problem-solving skills for identifying issues and collaborating on resolutions

- Basic communication skills in English are an advantage
