What You'll Do
• Lead the migration from Airflow-based services to a scalable, Kubernetes-based service architecture organized by data type.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, expanding automated test coverage across production code.
• Manage the VAD-to-data-warehouse pipeline, including data lifecycle management, retention schedules, service-level agreements, and large-scale data management through handoff to the data-warehouse team.
• Oversee compute-resource allocation, server onboarding, and infrastructure-usage reporting.
• Build and maintain a Back tester GUI that enables visual strategy analysis and signal-level portfolio-behavior tracking.
• Develop monitoring dashboards for production health, data quality, and workflow status.
• Design live-override tooling for dividend overrides, on-the-fly option-series fitting, and curve-type changes for illiquid names, with signoff and audit logging to ensure traceability.
• Build the UI layer for an AI-powered paper-trading platform integrated with VAD data feeds.
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related quantitative field.
• At least three years of experience in a quantitative, engineering, or data-driven financial-services environment.
• Strong Python programming skills, with experience in Java, C#, and Angular.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Airflow, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience building front-end tools or GUIs; familiarity with React, GLUE 42, or comparable frameworks is preferred.
• Working knowledge of financial markets, particularly options and derivatives.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks and back testing systems is highly valued.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
