Summary
Role Overview: Manage, secure, and maintain OT assets to ensure seamless manufacturing operations while aligning with corporate IT security standards.
The Associate Engineer, Manufacturing Process is responsible for designing, developing, deploying and optimizing processes for manufacturing to achieve quality cost and delivery goals for Celestica and its customers products.
Detailed Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Asset & Network Management: Onboard new OT machines, ensure proper network segmentation (VLANs), and maintain accurate asset records in the CMDB.
- Security Deployment: Install and manage mandatory security tools (CrowdStrike, BigFix, etc.) based on OT system classifications without disrupting production.
- Risk Management: Identify vulnerabilities, report policy exceptions, and manage the Risk Acceptance (RA) process for legacy or unsupported machines.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the bridge between the engineering team (Operations) and enterprise IT/Security teams.
- Support: the evaluation of new equipment, coordinate software and hardware upgrades, set equipment specifications and qualification tests with supervision.

Physical Demands
- Solid understanding of OT environments.
- Familiarity with IT/OT cybersecurity and ITSM tools.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Typical Experience
- 3-5 years' experience with IT/OT
Typical Education
- Degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field.
