Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Opcenter Developer to join our Global IT Team. This senior-level role is responsible for the architecture, development, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of Siemens Opcenter solutions that enable and optimize Teradyne's global manufacturing operations.

The successful candidate will serve as a technical leader and subject matter expert for Opcenter MES. Working closely with business stakeholders, manufacturing engineers, factory personnel, and IT teams, this individual will design and deliver scalable solutions that enhance shop floor execution, traceability, quality, and operational performance.

The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter, manufacturing execution systems, shop floor processes, and enterprise integrations. This role requires the ability to independently solve complex technical challenges, lead initiatives across diverse global teams, and influence the technical direction of manufacturing systems within the organization. Expectations align with a senior, experienced professional capable of leading complex projects and serving as a recognized expert in their field.

- Lead the design, development, configuration, customization, and deployment of Siemens Opcenter MES solutions.

- Serve as the primary technical expert for Opcenter applications supporting global manufacturing sites.

- Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and IT teams to analyze business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.

- Design and implement integrations between Opcenter, ERP, PLM, automation platforms, reporting solutions, and enterprise applications.

- Lead technical projects and coordinate activities across geographically diverse teams and stakeholders.

- Mentor developers, analysts, and support personnel while promoting development standards and best practices.

- Establish technical architecture, governance standards, and solution design guidelines for manufacturing systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues while minimizing impact to manufacturing operations.

- Support system upgrades, patching, testing, deployments, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge-sharing materials.

- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements that support Teradyne's manufacturing strategy

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- 8+ years of experience in software development, MES development, or manufacturing systems.

- Expert-level experience with Siemens Opcenter development, configuration, and implementation.

- Strong history supporting manufacturing operations and shop floor systems in a complex production environment.

- Demonstrated experience leading technical initiatives and collaborating with diverse global teams.

- Strong understanding of manufacturing execution, production workflows, traceability, quality systems, and process automation.

- Experience in ConnectMOM for integration with enterprise platforms.

- Proven ability to independently solve complex technical challenges.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Teamcenter, Oracle Fusion, Snowflake, Power BI, and enterprise integration technologies.

- Experience supporting semiconductor, electronics, robotics, or high-technology manufacturing environments.

- Experience leading global manufacturing system deployments and transformation initiatives.

- Knowledge of cloud technologies, APIs, and modern development frameworks.

- Prior experience mentoring and leading technical teams.
