Compliance Monitoring Executive

Job Overview: We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Law Graduate to set up, manage, and drive our centralised compliance monitoring framework. You will evaluate statutory applicability for the company, implement a centralized compliance tracking application, and manage day-to-day tracking, team follow-ups, document maintenance, and compliance issue resolution across all internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Applicability Assessment: Review statutory, regulatory, and corporate compliance requirements to determine which specific laws apply to the company's business operations and locations.
- Application Implementation: Lead the setup and deployment of a centralized compliance monitoring tool by mapping finalized compliance requirements and defining ownership and escalation hierarchies.
- Daily Compliance Monitoring: Track day-to-day compliance activities across all functional departments to ensure timely completion and verification of supporting evidence.
- Reminders & Follow-ups: Issue reminders and follow up with department heads and task owners to prevent overdue items and regulatory delays.
- Tracker & Document Maintenance: Build, maintain, and continuously update centralized compliance trackers, license copies, and submission acknowledgements.
- Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Assist internal teams in interpreting compliance requirements, resolving operational bottlenecks, and troubleshooting compliance execution issues.
- Escalation Management: Track unresolved or delayed tasks through established multi-level escalation matrices and flag potential risks to management.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Generate periodic status reports and monthly compliance dashboards for management’s review.
- Regulatory Updates: Monitor changes in laws, rules, and statutory amendments to keep the company’s compliance database current.

Candidate Profile & Eligibility

- Education: LL.B. degree from a Bar Council of India (BCI) approved university.
- Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in corporate compliance, legal research, or legal operations. Freshers can apply.
- Legal Knowledge: Sound understanding of statutory, labor, tax, corporate, and operational regulations.
- Tech Aptitude: Comfortable learning, setting up, and administering compliance management applications and digital tracking tools.
- Communication & Coordination: Strong interpersonal skills to follow up with cross-functional teams and enforce compliance timelines assertively.
