PMO Manager – Workday & Enterprise Applications

Scope:

- Own and drive the Workday enhancement portfolio , covering demand intake, prioritization, roadmap planning, delivery, releases, risks, dependencies, and business outcomes.
- Lead PMO governance and executive reporting , providing leadership visibility into program health, milestones, risks, financials, and key decisions.
- Coordinate across HR, IT, Finance, business teams, technology partners, and senior leadership to ensure alignment, timely execution, and successful adoption of Workday initiatives. Key Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

Workday Enhancement & Program Management

- Own the PMO governance for the  Workday enhancement portfolio , including demand intake, prioritization, planning, delivery tracking, and closure.
- Partner with HR, IT, Workday product teams, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable enhancement initiatives.
- Manage enhancement roadmaps, release planning, dependencies, risks, issues, and key milestones.
- Establish and maintain standardized processes for  Workday change requests, prioritization, approvals, testing, deployment, and post-production support .
- Coordinate with Workday implementation/support partners and internal technology teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Track benefits, outcomes, and business value delivered through Workday enhancements.

Executive Stakeholder & ELT Engagement

- Work closely with  ELTs and senior leadership  to provide clear visibility into portfolio health, strategic initiatives, risks, dependencies, and decisions required.
- Prepare executive-level presentations, dashboards, status reports, and decision papers.
- Facilitate leadership governance forums, steering committee meetings, and program reviews.
- Proactively identify issues that require executive intervention and drive them to resolution.
- Communicate complex technology and business topics in a concise, outcome-oriented manner.

PMO Governance

- Establish strong  program governance, operating rhythms, and reporting mechanisms  across Workday and related enterprise initiatives.
- Maintain portfolio-level RAID logs, action trackers, decision logs, milestone plans, and financial tracking.
- Develop and maintain executive dashboards and KPIs covering delivery, budget, risks, dependencies, and business outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to organizational PMO standards, controls, and delivery methodologies.
- Drive continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, templates, and reporting.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Act as a central coordination point between  HR, IT, Finance, Legal, Security, Business Operations, and Technology teams .
- Manage dependencies across Workday and other enterprise applications.
- Partner with product owners, architects, engineering teams, vendors, and functional leads to ensure alignment and timely execution.
- Support organizational change management and stakeholder adoption for major Workday enhancements.

What We Are Looking For:

- 9–14 years of experience in  PMO, Program Management, Technology Transformation, or Enterprise Applications .
- Proven experience managing  Workday enhancement programs or Workday-related initiatives .
- Strong understanding of Workday modules such as  HCM, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, Absence, Payroll, or Finance  is preferred.
- Experience working in a  global, matrixed organization  with geographically distributed teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with  C-suite / ELT / VP-level stakeholders .
- Strong experience in executive reporting, governance, portfolio management, and strategic planning.
- Excellent understanding of  RAID management, dependency management, risk management, financial tracking, and change control .
- Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously in a high-growth and changing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

- Experience with PMO tools such as  Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, Power BI, or similar platforms .
- Experience in  HR Technology / HRIS transformation .
- Experience working with global consulting partners and technology vendors.
- Exposure to enterprise architecture, and technology governance.
- Experience within a SaaS, enterprise software, supply-chain technology, or similarly complex technology organization.
