Job description
The Cash Management - SME serves as the technical lead and quality anchor for the Cash & Settlement team. The role is responsible for reviewing and approving analyst outputs, acting as the subject matter expert for cash reconciliation and controls, and handling complex or escalated transactions independently. The SME also prepares and owns monthly balance reporting, supports audit and regulatory engagements, and coach analysts to develop their capabilities.
This role will also support the process improvements initiatives of that will be designed for the Manila Finance Shared Service Center.
What you will be doing:
Procurement Operations & Reporting
- Act as the escalation point for complex PR, PO, invoice matching, and procurement process issues.
- Resolve aging invoice cases by coordinating with stakeholders to address missing POs, goods receipts, or approval issues.
- Monitor service levels, backlog, transaction quality, and operational performance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports covering procurement KPIs, SLA performance, invoice aging, and sourcing activities.
- Analyze trends and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, compliance, and service delivery.
Strategic Sourcing
- Review purchasing requirements and clarify business needs with stakeholders.
- Lead local sourcing activities, including supplier assessment, bid evaluation, commercial negotiations, and award recommendations.
- Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, service, and risk considerations.
- Maintain sourcing documentation and ensure compliance with procurement policies and approval requirements.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with business leaders, Finance teams, Procurement teams, and suppliers to deliver procurement solutions.
- Provide guidance and updates on procurement requests, sourcing activities, and issue resolution.
- Identify and escalate discrepancies between contracts, approved terms, and procurement transactions.
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to process improvements, controls, and standard operating procedures.
- Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency gains, and stronger governance.
- Support service transitions and operational readiness activities.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in Procurement, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Shared Services, or a related function.
- Proven experience managing sourcing activities, including RFQs/RFPs, supplier evaluations, commercial negotiations, and recommendation of awarded suppliers.
- Strong hands-on experience with PR/PO processes, invoice resolution, SLA management, service delivery, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
- Experience developing operational reports, dashboards, and performance insights to support business decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to provide subject matter expertise, quality assurance, process guidance, and coaching to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes; supply chain knowledge is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Oracle Fusion and procurement-related systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
- Proven negotiation skills with a track record of achieving commercial value, savings, and successful issue resolution.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
