About the Customer Solutions Center
The Customer Solutions Center is Mastercard’s local product and solutions function, bringing together Mastercard’s products, services, and expertise to address customer and market needs.
The team partners closely with account management, sales, regional product teams, technology, and delivery teams to translate Mastercard’s capabilities into customer-relevant solutions and accelerate their successful deployment in the market.
To further accelerate our digital agenda, we are expanding the Customer Solutions Center with a Manager, Product & Solutions – Digital Payments & Consumer Products, based in Amsterdam and responsible for the Netherlands and Iceland.

About the Role
As Manager, Product & Solutions – Digital Payments & Consumer Products, you will be a go-to product expert for financial institutions in the Netherlands and Iceland, with a particular focus on accelerating the adoption and deployment of Mastercard’s digital payment solutions.
A key focus of the role will be helping issuing institutions design and implement the next generation of digital payment experiences, including Click to Pay, tokenization, authentication, payment passkeys, digital wallets, and related digital capabilities.
Alongside Digital Payments, you will support Mastercard’s broader Consumer Products portfolio, helping customers develop compelling consumer payment propositions and ensuring that Mastercard’s digital capabilities are embedded into the overall customer experience.
You will work closely with sales, account management, product, and delivery teams to move opportunities from customer discovery and solution design through implementation and market deployment.
A strong focus on digital payments, consumer experience, product enablement, and execution will be central to the role.

Role and Responsibilities
As the customer-facing product and solutions expert for Digital Payments and Consumer Products in the Netherlands and Iceland, you will:
Drive digital payment adoption. Accelerate the deployment and adoption of Mastercard digital solutions, including Click to Pay, tokenization, digital wallets, agentic commerce and related capabilities.
Lead customer solution discovery. Work with financial institutions to understand their business objectives, consumer needs, technology environment, and digital payment strategy.
Shape digital payment solutions. Help customers define their approach, customer journeys, requirements, and implementation plans for Mastercard digital solutions.
Support Click to Pay enablement. Help issuers assess their Click to Pay strategy, consumer journeys, dependencies, and implementation readiness.
Accelerate tokenization and authentication. Support customers in understanding and deploying Mastercard’s tokenization and authentication capabilities as foundational components of secure and seamless digital payments.
Support emerging digital payment capabilities. Build expertise in new Mastercard digital technologies and help customers understand how these capabilities can improve security, convenience, and the overall payment experience.
Support Consumer Products. Work with customers and Mastercard product teams to develop relevant consumer payment propositions, ensuring that digital capabilities and consumer product strategies are brought together into a coherent customer experience.
Bridge business and technology. Communicate effectively with business leaders, product managers, technology teams, operations teams, and customer-experience specialists, translating complex product and technology topics into clear business and customer implications.
Provide pre- and post-sale expertise. Support account managers and sales teams in customer meetings, solution presentations, strategic opportunities, and requests for proposal, and continue to provide product expertise through implementation.
Coordinate implementation. Partner with delivery, product, technology, and customer teams to define milestones, identify dependencies, manage risks, and maintain momentum from solution design through deployment.
Resolve enablement barriers. Identify recurring product, technology, operational, or customer-experience challenges and coordinate with the appropriate Mastercard teams to support their resolution.
Connect local customers with European product teams. Maintain close relationships with Digital Payments, Consumer Products, Product Enablement, and technology teams across Europe to remain current on product capabilities, roadmaps, implementation requirements, and best practices.
Support commercialization and adoption. Translate Mastercard capabilities into clear customer value propositions and help develop the enablement approach required to move solutions from opportunity to implementation and adoption.
Build internal capability. Share product knowledge, implementation experience, customer insights, and best practices with account teams and the broader Customer Solutions Center.

All About You
5+ years of relevant professional experience in product enablement, solution architecture, product management, technical consulting, product commercialization, or a comparable customer-facing role.
Strong experience working directly with customers to understand requirements, facilitate workshops, design solutions, and support implementation.
Good understanding of the payments ecosystem and the role of issuers, processors, payment networks, digital wallets, merchants, payment service providers, and technology partners.
Experience with digital payments, tokenization, digital wallets, e-commerce payments, or related technologies.
Ability to translate business and consumer needs into practical product, technology, and customer-experience requirements.
Strong understanding of digital customer journeys and user experience, particularly within banking, payments, or commerce.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex product and technology topics clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives involving sales, account management, product, technology, delivery, and customer teams.
Strong planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and dependencies.
A proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented working style with the ability to operate effectively in an international and matrixed organization.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Dutch.
Willingness to travel to support customers and internal collaboration, particularly within the Netherlands, Iceland, and Europe.

Desirable Experience
Experience working within a bank, issuer, processor, payment network, fintech, digital wallet, or payment-technology provider.
Knowledge of digital payment capabilities such as Click to Pay, network tokenization, digital wallets, EMV 3-D Secure, authentication, or payment passkeys.
Experience developing or enabling consumer debit, credit, or premium payment propositions.
Familiarity with the regulatory, privacy, security, and operational considerations associated with deploying digital payment solutions.
