The Role

The Security Architect plays a key role in supporting customers and sales teams in the design, positioning, and promotion of advanced cybersecurity solutions .

The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Network Security and a deep understanding of Zero Trust security principles , IT architectures , Identity & Access Management (IAM) , and endpoint security .

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and support the security team dedicated to customer ensuring their growth and Service goals
- Develop and implement Kyndryl security strategies for customers.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to position and promote Kyndryl solutions.
- Provide technical consultancy and support to customers throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Conduct security assessments to identify security gaps and areas for improvement.
- Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and industry developments .
- Perform security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate remediation and improvement measures.
- Provide strategic guidance on leading security frameworks, standards, and industry best practices .

We are seeking a Security Architect who will join our team and take the lead on developing, implementing, and maintaining our security strategy within our Service Provider organization.

As our Security Architect, you will work closely with our leadership team to design and implement effective security solutions that not only protect our business objectives and regulatory requirements, but also provide innovative solutions to stay ahead of emerging threats.

You will conduct risk assessments and threat modeling to identify and prioritize risks to our business and IT assets, using your extensive experience in security architecture design and implementation within a Service Provider environment to create a cutting-edge security architecture framework.

You will also work to maintain policies, standards, and guidelines related to information security within our organization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and technologies such as encryption, authentication, and authorization solutions.

Your role will also involve conducting security reviews of vendors and third-party partners to ensure they meet our rigorous security standards, as well as performing regular security and risk reviews of our Service Provider environment to identify vulnerabilities and recommend

remediation activities.

- Management and coordination of activities with Security Operations Centers (SOC) .
- Definition, implementation, and enforcement of cybersecurity policies .
- Support for regulatory compliance and security governance processes.
- Cybersecurity risk assessment and definition of appropriate mitigation plans.
- Management and analysis of cybersecurity incidents .
- Security monitoring and analysis of security events.
- Assessment and management of key perimeter protection and security technologies .
- Preparation and management of technical and compliance documentation related to cybersecurity.
- Support for continuous improvement initiatives aimed at strengthening the customer's overall security posture .

Required Technical Skills

- Firewalls and Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) solutions.
- Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS) .
- VPN technologies and strong authentication solutions .
- Security monitoring and log analysis .
- Security Governance and Security Management .
- Security Incident Management and Incident Response .
- Blue Team exercises and activities .
- Vulnerability remediation and management .
- Management of security environments and infrastructure .
- CyberArk .
- Knowledge of network architectures – nice to have.

Required Certifications

The candidate should hold one or more of the following certifications :

- ITIL 4 Managing Professional
- CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional
- CISM – Certified Information Security Manager
- CompTIA Security+
- CEH – Certified Ethical Hacke

The position will be governed by the Italian National Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees of the Metalworking Industry (Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per i dipendenti dell’Industria Metalmeccanica e della Installazione di Impianti), with classification as Quadro.

The employment contract may be offered as a  permanent employment contract  (contratto a tempo indeterminato).

The salary range for the position in Italy is € 60.060,00 to € 107.900,00 based on a full-time schedule at the time of posting. The level assigned and the corresponding remuneration within the salary range indicated above will be determined in accordance with several factors such as, geographical tier, job-related skills, education and experience that selected candidates bring to the team.

For part-time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.
