We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Electronics Engineer to join an exciting and dynamic team in integrating, testing and troubleshooting complex electronic systems and related test equipment.

Location:

This position does not support regular teleworking. You will need to live near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in King of Prussia (aka Valley Forge), PA. and are expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.

What does this role look like?

The Electronics Engineer Stf is an individual contributor on the Reentry Avionics team supporting FBM. You will provide technical oversight across several different projects and integrate Avionics hardware and software in the test and manufacturing environments. This role blends electronics design, test support and production support for electronics systems.

Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

* Lead electronics systems development of new reentry bodies
* Review and approve detailed designs (grounding diagrams, fxn’l interface documents, block/wiring diagrams, test plans/procedures) and perform technical analyses (power analysis, worst case circuit analysis)
* Participate in customer technical reviews, Engineering Material Review Board (EMRB) hardware discrepancy decisions, and Failure Review Board (FRB) as required
* Interface with production personnel and resolve as issues they arise
* Resolve test anomalies through troubleshooting and root cause analysis
* Provide technical leadership to a group of junior electronics engineers across multiple projects on topics such as best design practices, analyses, and test methods
* Manage risk and identify mitigation plans to meet productivity, quality, cost, schedule, and mission success objectives

To be effective in this role, you will need:

* Experience in design and testing of electronics hardware and comfortability using test equipment
* 5+ yrs of professional engineering experience
* Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to develop complex solutions to complex problems
* Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors and customers
* To be able to work in a collaborative team environment and to build consensus among peers and effective relationships with team members

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
* Experience with Space flight electronic components and/or power distribution subsystems
* Experience in synthesizing requirements into electronics design at multiple assembly levels
* Ability and desire to obtain a Top Secret clearance which requires US Citizenship

Desired Skills

* Experience supporting product acceptance testing and requirements verification
* Experience with failure investigation and root cause analysis (root cause analysis, Failure Review Boards, etc.)
* Previous or current Material Review Board (MRB), Certified Product Engineer (CPE) or equivalent responsible product engineer experience
* Experience in schematic capture using Zuken, Xpedition or similar tools
* Experience with SPICE or other electronics modeling/simulation tools
* Existing Secret clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00
