We are looking for a reliable Winter Salt Truck Driver  who takes pride in safe vehicle operation, clear communication, accurate documentation, and keeping commercial properties and public areas safe during winter events.

What You’ll Do

- Complete daily circle checks in accordance with applicable Ministry of Transportation requirements

- Report defects, equipment concerns, and safety issues

- Operate salt trucks and related snow and ice equipment

- Apply materials according to site maps, service specifications, and operating standards

- Respond promptly to dispatch instructions and changing site conditions

- Report equipment malfunctions and assist with basic maintenance and refuelling as required

- Maintain communication with dispatch, team leads, and fellow operators

- Record hours, service activity, inspections, material use, and exceptions

- Follow Health and Safety policies and PPE requirements

- Support other crews when needed

- Protect people, property, vehicles, landscapes, and site features

What We’re Looking For

- Valid G-Class Driver’s Licence with a clean driver’s abstract

- A, AR, AZ, or higher licence considered an asset

- Previous experience operating salt trucks or similar equipment

- Strong safety awareness and property-protection mindset

- Ability to work safely in cold, wet, dark, and high-pressure environments

- Reliable transportation to and from the dispatch location

- Comfortable using a smartphone for communication, navigation, and reporting

- Availability for evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and storm-call shifts
