WPF Developer Experience: 4–6 Years Location: Chennai   
About the Job We are looking for a WPF Developer with strong hands-on expertise in C#, WPF, XAML, and PowerShell scripting to design, develop, maintain, and enhance scalable desktop applications. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, WPF application development, XAML, data binding, event handling, and application debugging, along with the ability to write and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and application support. The role will contribute across the full SDLC, application development, testing, debugging, automation, deployment, and production support, while collaborating closely with technical and business teams.
What You'll Do •    Analyze business and technical requirements and develop scalable C#/.NET desktop applications. •    Design, develop, and maintain WPF applications using XAML and C#. •    Implement user interfaces, controls, layouts, data binding, commands, and event handling using WPF. •    Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and clean coding practices to develop maintainable applications. •    Develop reusable components and maintain existing WPF application modules. •    Write and maintain PowerShell scripts for application automation, deployment, configuration, monitoring, and support activities. •    Debug application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement appropriate fixes. •    Perform unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting to ensure application quality and reliability. •    Work with databases and backend services to integrate WPF applications with required data sources and APIs. •    Participate in code reviews and follow development standards, version control, and documentation practices. •    Support application deployment, maintenance, and production issue resolution. •    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions. •    Contribute to application enhancements, modernization, performance improvements, and automation initiatives.
What We Seek In You •    4–6 years of software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in C# and .NET. •    Strong hands-on experience developing desktop applications using WPF. •    Strong knowledge of XAML, including layouts, controls, styles, templates, and data binding. •    Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. •    Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and application support. •    Good understanding of WPF application architecture and separation of UI and business logic. •    Experience with data binding, commands, events, reusable controls, and custom components. •    Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills with experience in resolving application and production issues. •    Experience with Visual Studio, Git, and source control practices. •    Understanding of unit testing, application deployment, and software development lifecycle. •    Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications •    Experience with MVVM architecture and frameworks such as Prism or MVVM Toolkit. •    Experience with .NET Core / modern .NET and migration of legacy desktop applications. •    Knowledge of RESTful Web APIs and integration with backend services. •    Experience with SQL Server or relational databases. •    Knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean architecture. •    Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation. •    Experience developing enterprise-scale WPF applications. •    Exposure to application performance optimization and modernization initiatives. •    Experience working in Agile development environments.
