## Job Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to lead research and technology development in polymers, composites, battery materials, carbon materials, carbon capture, and other advanced material systems . The successful candidate will design and execute research programs, analyze data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead external partnerships to develop innovative material solutions. This role spans fundamental research, product development, application development, and market-driven innovation to create new business opportunities.

Required QualificationsLong Description

- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven research accomplishments through publications, patents, product developments, or industry projects.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

- Experience in experimental design, statistical analysis, and data interpretation.

- Curiosity and willingness to learn across new technologies and application areas, with the adaptability to thrive in uncertain and ambiguous environments.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.

- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

- Fluent in spoken and written English.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in polymers, composites, battery materials, carbon materials, carbon capture, or sustainable materials.

- Experience leading collaborative R&D programs.

- Proven ability to leverage external partnerships to accelerate research, technology development, and commercialization.
