Customs Specialist (M/F/D)

Your Responsibilities

- Managing customs clearance processes and preparing customs declarations in line with applicable regulations.

- Verifying the accuracy and completeness of customs documentation to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

- Liaising with customs authorities and representing the company in matters related to customs procedures.

- Performing customs-related activities in a timely and accurate manner while monitoring the progress of customs clearances.

- Entering and maintaining shipment and customs-related data in dedicated systems.

- Monitoring and administering financial guarantees related to customs operations and maintaining the required records.

- Ensuring the accuracy and availability of data necessary for the correct invoicing of customs services.

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, proactively addressing operational challenges and preventing delays.

- Supporting post-clearance activities, including customs claims, audits, verifications, and customs proceedings.

- Following company policies, procedures, and quality standards to deliver a high level of service.

Our Expectations

- Previous experience in a similar customs-related role.

- English language proficiency at a minimum A2/B1 level.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Willingness to work in a shift-based environment.

Nice to Have

- Experience working with the HUZAR customs application.

- Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures within an international logistics environment.
