We're seeking a motivated Inventory Control 1 to join our team! This role is designed to grow well-rounded team members - you'll build proficiency in either warehouse material handling or digital inventory control while cross-training in the other. It's the foundation of our operational team and a steppingstone toward greater independence and responsibility as you grow with us.
What You'll Do:
- ###### Learn the Business: Build familiarity with ALC's internal processes, product categories, and operational workflows.
- ###### Handle the Warehouse Side: Receive, sort, organize, and move inventory within the warehouse, managing space and moving product appropriately .
- ###### Manage the Digital Side: Support our large digital inventory catalog, and pull, pick, and verify the accuracy of online orders .
- Keep Things Running Smoothly: Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and safe working environment.
- Be a Team Player: Hit your quota/goal targets and take on other job-related duties as assigned.
What You Bring:
- Post-secondary training and/or 2+ years of experience with inventory, online sales, or databases.
- Experience with Excel or other databases/inventory control software.
- Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Capable of regularly lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and carrying, reaching, bending, and stooping frequently.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
