About this role

At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

The mission of the Chrome Open Media team is to develop frontier media technologies that allow for the efficient storage, transport, and enhancement of media files. This team produces innovative technologies to enhance video and to enable the efficient compression of 3D geometric meshes and point clouds.
You will be responsible for driving product vision for our advanced visual capabilities and geometry compression technologies. You will work extensively with industry and research partners and organizations with which we collaborate to develop and standardize many of these technologies. You should be comfortable with managing questions for which there may be no clear answers and to think strategically. You will work closely with a team of highly experienced engineers, internal users and collaborators, and a broad range of external partners.

We’re focused on making a better browser (on both desktop and mobile) to help users take advantage of all the web has to offer in a safe and secure way.Chrome is available across all major platforms — iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome OS.
