Senior Systems Administrator - COMSEC Specialist

MTSI is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator - COMSEC Specialist whose primary function will be to manage KMI operations, implement remote management, and support a parent account and its geographically distributed local element subaccounts. This position will be located in the Washington DC area.   Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
- Help establish the account’s KMI operating procedures, records, and workflows as the KMI suite is brought online.
- Assist the COMSEC manager in the development, implementation, and maintenance of COMSEC and key management policies, procedures, and processes.
- Administer COMSEC accounts and support enterprise cryptographic key management operations in accordance with NSA guidelines and account policies.
- Request, order, receive, download, distribute, and account for cryptographic keying material thought the Key Management Infrastructure (KMI).
- Manage and maintain keying material inventories to ensure accountability, accuracy, and compliance with applicable directives.
- Coordinate with network engineers to establish COMSEC remote management for supported networks and cryptonets, including bringing servers online, connecting devices, configuration management access, and remote rekey workflows.
- Support the establishment and oversight of subordinate COMSEC accounts and associated privileges.
- Perform other COMSEC and key management duties as assigned by the COMSEC Manager.
- Coordinate key distribution and rekey operations to support mission requirements across multiple locations and programs.
- Maintain records, reports, and documentation related to KMI transactions and key management activities.
- Assist with COMSEC audits, inspections, inventories, and compliance reviews.
- Provide technical assistance and training to COMSEC custodians, users, and program personnel regarding KMI processes and procedures.

Required Qualifications :
- 15+ years' of related technical experience.
- Must be KMI certified prior to hire and possess a valid NSA or equivalent KMI training certificate.
- Must have prior KMI Operating Account Manager (KOAM) experience.
- Experience supporting the fielding, operation, management, and maintenance of Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) and associated cryptographic equipment in support of modernization initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of COMSEC accounting systems, including the COMSEC Accounting Reporting and Distribution System (CARDS), Key Management Infrastructure (KMI), and the COMSEC Distributed INFOSEC Accounting System (DIAS).
- Extensive understanding of the NSA CSSM Policy 3-16 or other agency COMSEC doctrine and their associated references will be utilized daily

Minimum Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field.

Clearance Requirements:
- Top Secret, SCI Eligible; SAP experience within last 5 years or SCI in lieu of.
    The pay range for this position is $150,000/year to $200,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
