Job Summary:

The Corporate Banking Senior Loan Administrator supports the Restaurant and Hospitality Franchise Finance team by managing commercial real estate and franchise finance loan closings, construction loan disbursement administration, and post-closing servicing activity.

The role coordinates acquisition, refinance, construction, development, and working capital transactions from approval through funding while maintaining accurate records, resolving servicing matters, and supporting effective risk and control oversight.

The Senior Loan Administrator will serve as a central liaison among relationship managers, portfolio managers, middle and back-office HUBs, legal counsel, title companies, borrowers, participant lenders, and third-party consultants to ensure timely, accurate, and responsive loan administration.

Responsibilities :

Loan Closing:

- Manage commercial real estate and franchise finance loan closings from approval through funding, including checklist preparation, closing logistics, conditions precedent, and wire execution coordination.
- Review credit approvals, term sheets, and loan documentation to confirm consistency with approved transaction structure and funding requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external counsel on loan documentation, due diligence, title, survey, insurance, flood review, KYC, UCC filings, and collateral perfection requirements.
- Coordinate customer, collateral, and participant lender due diligence, as applicable.
- Prepare closing binders and document collateral identification for transition to servicing.

Construction Loan Administration:

- Administer construction loan draw requests in accordance with loan agreements, approved budgets, funding conditions, and disbursement requirements.
- Review draw packages, including contractor applications for payment, lien waivers, invoices, inspection reports, budget reconciliations, and consultant materials.
- Monitor project budgets, contingency balances, cost overruns, retainage, remaining availability, and construction progress to confirm advances are supported by approved costs and work completed.
- Prepare draw funding recommendations, facilitate approvals and disbursements, and maintain construction loan records and draw histories.

Loan Servicing:

- Review servicing forms, system records, and loan documentation to support accurate ongoing loan administration and post-close control monitoring.
- Monitor and resolve UCC tracking items, flood insurance deadlines, post-close documentation exceptions, fee/payment invoice discrepancies, and related internal inquiries.
- Coordinate payoff documentation, lien releases, flood determinations, tax contracts, paid facility terminations, and related servicing actions with counsel and internal operations teams.
- Manage borrower, internal stakeholder, and servicing-related inquiries and track fee revenue and related servicing activity as needed.

Skills & Experience:

- 5+ years of experience in commercial loan closing, loan administration, commercial banking operations, or construction loan administration.
- Strong experience closing commercial real estate, specialty finance, or other commercial loans for an institutional lender.
- Working knowledge of commercial loan documentation, closing procedures, title insurance, surveys, collateral perfection, UCC filings, and post-close servicing requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field preferred. Equivalent industry experience will be considered.
- Strong judgment, organization, and prioritization skills in managing transactions with competing deadlines and limited standardization.
- Detail-oriented with a strong control mindset and commitment to accurate documentation, funding, reconciliation, and servicing.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across borrowers, counsel, title companies, consultants, operations teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.

Desired Requirements:

- Experience with franchised restaurant finance, hospitality lending, construction lending, or bridge lending.
- Experience with developing or leading a loan servicing or construction loan servicing team.
- Experience reviewing construction budgets, draw requests, inspection reports, or syndicated and participated loan structures.
- Understanding of KYC, regulatory, and compliance requirements related to commercial real estate lending.
- Paralegal or real estate law experience preferred, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits:

The typical base pay range for this role is between $120k-$140k depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
