Required Degree:

Master's Degree is required, preferably in a related field. The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:

- Experience teaching Latin American topics.
- Ability to create curriculum that is current and relevant to the changing cultural and political environment in Latin American countries.
- Experience in adapting curriculum to meet specific audience needs.
- Strong familiarity with the key concepts outlined in the approved course curriculum.

Duties/Expectations:

- Prepare and teach all aspects of the course, including in-class lectures, assessments, and assignments.
- Regular communication with the LAS Academic Program Director.
- Meet all standards outlined for faculty at Brigham Young University.
- Willingness to collaborate with coordinators and department chair of affiliated programs (including Spanish and Portuguese)
