This role operates primarily on a remote working arrangement that will require travel into one of our UK sites once per month minimum. About our Department :

The Technical BA sits within our Technology Department that is crucial to making sure our employees and students can work effectively, deliver projects, find the right solutions and ensure we develop the technology that will make the biggest difference.

Our IT team is made up of around 65 employees with a vast range of skills from Software Development to IT Operations and Security.

About the Opportunity:

As a Technical Business Analyst within Arden University's IT Customer Services team (Salesforce), you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our Salesforce platform, helping to deliver innovative solutions that improve the experience of both students and colleagues.

Working across a diverse portfolio of strategic and operational initiatives, you'll collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, analyse processes and translate requirements into clear, effective solutions. From facilitating workshops and documenting requirements to supporting implementation and adoption, you'll drive meaningful business change that aligns with the University's digital transformation ambitions.

You'll also champion business analysis best practice, helping to embed consistent standards and continuous improvement across the team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst who enjoys solving complex problems, influencing stakeholders and delivering technology-enabled change that makes a real impact.

About You:

You'll be an experienced Business Analyst with a passion for delivering technology-enabled change and improving business processes. With strong stakeholder management skills and a collaborative approach, you'll be confident translating complex business needs into practical Salesforce solutions. You'll enjoy working across multiple projects, influencing decision-making and driving continuous improvement while building strong relationships with both technical and non-technical teams.

Essential Skills / Experience:

- Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in Business Analysis, with significant experience of Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
- Proven experience delivering business analysis within IT-enabled change or digital transformation environments.
- Expertise in requirements gathering, business process analysis and documenting as-is and to-be processes.
- Experience applying a range of Business Analysis techniques, including user stories, use cases, workshops, interviews and process modelling.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and CRM transformation programmes.
- Experience working with third-party integrations and middleware.
- Experience of data migration
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning and execution.
- Ability to assess the impact of change and produce clear, evidence-based recommendations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs.
- Experience supporting colleagues and promoting Business Analysis best practice.
- Good understanding of how systems, data and technology support business processes and organisational objectives.
- Knowledge of relevant governance, legal and regulatory requirements within a professional environment.
